Christmas food donation – We served 3,000 bales of Unga to needy Families in 2023
In the spirit of giving and community support, the Jeremy Damaris Foundation carried out a special Christmas Food Donation drive in 2023. We provided 3,000 bales of unga (maize flour) to needy families across Kenya, ensuring they had enough food to celebrate the holiday season with dignity and warmth.
The distribution focused on:
- Supporting Vulnerable Families: By identifying households struggling to make ends meet, we targeted our efforts to reach those in greatest need.
- Fostering Community Spirit: Christmas is a time for togetherness, and our donation drive helped bring communities together to share in the festive joy.
- Ensuring Food Security: With maize flour being a staple in Kenyan diets, the donation ensured that families had the essentials to prepare meals during the holiday period.
