Providing Warmth and Comfort to Flood-Affected Families
In response to the devastating floods that struck Kenya in 2024, the Jeremy Damaris Foundation launched an emergency relief initiative to support affected communities. We donated 10,000 blankets to displaced families who lost their homes and possessions during the floods, offering them warmth and comfort in a time of need.
Our efforts focused on:
- Immediate Relief: The blankets provided much-needed warmth to families forced to seek temporary shelter in makeshift camps and community centers.
- Supporting Vulnerable Populations: We prioritized vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly, and those with disabilities, ensuring they received critical aid.
- Restoring Hope: Beyond the material support, our donation aimed to uplift the spirits of those impacted by the floods, reminding them that they are not alone in their recovery journey.
Through this initiative, we sought to bring relief and comfort to thousands of Kenyans, reinforcing our commitment to standing with communities during times of crisis.
